Will my children hate it?

Will my children hate it?

Jesus valued children and young people in a way that was revolutionary, and whilst we can’t claim to be the only church in the world that makes a fuss of children, we’re sure your children will have a fantastic experience of St James’. You may also find it reassuring to know that all of our children’s leaders are police-checked.

Sundays

During the 10:30am service on a Sunday we have Kids Church groups for all children. For the very littlest children, we run a staffed creche with soft play and toy cars, so you can safely leave children and return to enjoy the rest of that morning’s activities. Our other groups are organised by school year.

During coffee, after the service, we have Mario Karts and the latest version of Fifa to keep children entertained.

If you have any queries about the groups, please contact us, or just turn up.

For school years 6 to 10

If you’re aged 10 to 14, and want to make new friends, have fun, and learn more about Jesus, then come along to msg. Meeting fortnightly on Wednesdays 6:30-8pm @ St James’s Church, there’s food, chat, games, and a chance to think about the big issues of life. More details here.

For school years 2 to 6

Tuesday is your night. For Boys we run Base Camp, and if you’re a girl, its Girlz Only. The groups meet fortnightly, starting at 5:30pm, finish 7:00pm. Tea is included. Make sure you come ready to learn, and to play. Please note, the boys often go outside and may get wet or muddy playing football or having a food fight. So try not to come in school uniform!
