Every fortnight Base Camp, our group for year 2-6 boys, meets to learn, play and eat.
In the summer months, everything is outdoors, and there’s as many water-based games, and as much football, as we can pack into 90 minutes, along with a bbq.
In the winter months we move indoors, carry on playing football, and mix in computer games and other sports for good measure, along with the occasional bowling trip.
Each session we’re also trying to learn a vital lesson for life from the Bible.
To provide plenty of space for active games we meet in St James’s Church between the October half-term and Easter, and the rest of the year we meet in the garden at 11 Park Road, EN4 9QA, where there’s loads of room for outdoor sport and a BBQ.
This term Base Camp meets 5.30pm-7pm on alternate Tuesday evenings. You can download a termcard here. Please ring (07515 105561) or email us if you have any queries, otherwise just turn up!
We charge subs of £3 a session (but you get your first two free).
