St James’s Outdoors

Two men are sharing a pint in an idyllic country pub and debating how much you need to know about the countryside to go for a walk.

The first says, “Do you know the difference between a farmer and a bull?” And his friend replies, “Yes - the farmer lets you walk across the field for free, but the bull charges.”

Sometimes you just need to get away from it all, to chill, to relax, and escape from the routine of big-city life. And what better way to do it, than in the company of friends?  We run a regular programme of Saturday walks that will get you out into the countryside.

We can’t promise you mountains, but there’s mud a-plenty, some great country pubs, and friends to share the journey with.
