Stepping out

How do you treat visitors?

What can i expect to happen at a Sunday service?

What do I wear?

What else happens on a Sunday?

Can I meet the vicar?

What do you believe?

Growing Deeper

iGrow Courses - A brilliant way to go further in your Journey with Jesus is to get involved in our discipleship courses (iGrow). The starting point for everyone is “Habits4Life” a 4-session course which introduces the foundational habits of Christian discipleship.

All of our courses are friendly, and informal. There are refreshments, time for discussion, a short bible-based talk, and the chance to go deeper as you think through the implications of what it is to be a disciple of Jesus. Find out more on our courses page.

Prayer

Every week you’re very welcome to join us as we gather together to pray for all that goes on at St James’, in the wider community and in the world. The meeting starts at 9:25am on a Sunday morning, in St James's Church. You won’t be asked to pray out loud or do anything that might make you uncomfortable.

Our monthly daytime prayer meeting, takes place at 105 Margaret Road, New Barnet. Pre-school children are welcome! For dates, check the diary

Community Groups

We encourage everyone who wants to commit to Jesus, to get involved in one of our Community Groups - groups that meet fortnightly in people’s homes for discussion, bible study, and to support and encourage one another.

They meet on various different days of the week and at lots of different times so that everyone can find a group that works for them. To join a group, come to the information desk at the end of one of our services, or email us.
